FIRE PREVENTION

Fire Chief Teaching Fire Safety

Fire Fighter in Full Gear

Fire Fighters Showing Equipment
Our Fire Prevention Program has been in place for several years. We go into Ingleside Primary and Gilbert J. Mircovich and teach the students about preventing fires. We use several techniques in order to teach them how to prevent a fire and what to do in case of a fire. Outside the students get to explore the fire trucks and watch the fire fighters put on their gear. Inside the schools our Fire Chief gives a presentation with the help of Pluggie. Pluggie is a robotic fire hydrant that talks to the kids and helps the Fire Chief teach them about fire safety.
