The library offers several special programs throughout the year, in addition to our regular programming. These are:
Children's Tree Lighting: The event is held annually in December from from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and features holiday music by an area musician or band, hot chocolate and cookies, the lighting of the children’s Christmas tree, rides on the Polar Express and of course a visit from Santa Claus to hear all the children’s wishes.
The Ingleside Library Board of Trustees and the Friends of the Ingleside Library sponsor this event. A special thank you to Dairy Queen for providing hot chocolate for this event.
Children young and old alike are invited to enjoy this holiday tradition at the library.
