BRUSH PICKUP:

The City of Ingleside provides brush/tree limb pickup services to residential properties within the city limits. The brush route is divided into two (2) sectors with four (4) sections in each sector, with each section having brush pickup for one week in an eight (8) week rotation period. Sector A will be picked up in odd months and Sector B will be picked up in even months. The week of pickup will correspond with the section number. A complete map of the Brush Collection Routes and Schedules is available at the city website, City Hall, the Public Works office, or please call us at (361) 776-7409 for more information.

Some helpful guidelines to remember when stacking your brush for pickup –

Brush should be cut into six (6) foot lengths,

Brush should not be stacked under overhanging obstructions (such as power lines, tree limbs or signs),

Brush should not be stacked over ground utility access (such as water meters, sewer cleanouts, or gas meters),

Brush should not be stacked in drainage ditches, right-of-ways, or alleys,

No other items can be stacked with brush; we cannot pickup wood, metal or other trash.

BRUSH DROP OFF AT CITY YARD:

For the convenience of our residents, brush may be dropped off at the Public Works Yard at 2525 Eighth Street, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Guidelines for dropping off brush at the City Yard –

You must check in at the Public Works office and show proof of residence within the City of Ingleside.
You will be required to present a drivers license, a water bill, or a utility bill with a street address.

Contractors (persons hauling brush for some-one else, from other than their own personal residence) must show a signed work order with the residence address and property owner’s signature and date signed.

We ask that you provide these items so that we can limit the brush accepted to that which is produced inside the city limits of Ingleside. WE DO NOT ACCEPT BRUSH FROM OUTSIDE THE CITY LIMITS.

 WOOD MULCH:

The City has FREE WOOD MULCH available to citizens at the City Yard located at 2525 Eighth Street.  Please call (361) 776-7409 for details.

TRASH DUMPSTERS:

Trash dumpsters at the City Yard are available for residents to use for a fee. A Fee Schedule is available at the City Website, City Hall or the Public Works Office. Please feel free to call us at (361) 776-7409 for more information.

Fees for dumpster use are paid at City Hall. You will receive a receipt to take to the City Yard.

You must check in at the Public Works office, show your receipt to the employee on duty, and you will be directed to the dumpsters.

Dumpsters are for residential use only. We cannot accept paint, tires, chemicals, or appliances containing Freon as we do not have access to proper facilities for proper disposal of these items. We do not accept builder/contractor debris.
