Texas A & M University Technology Commercialization Department is not only a partner to the City of Ingleside, they are soon to be a "resident business". TAMU has been designated by the Port of Corpus Christi as the master developer of the former Naval Station Ingleside property and is working to create a diverse and lucrative business environment that will more than replace the jobs lost by the closure of the military installation.
The University will have a permanent presence in the new development, and will infuse a considerable amount of intellectual capital into the area. More about the University’s initiative can be found at: click here.
