The City of Ingleside Public Works Department consists of:
All of these departments work together to provide prompt, courteous service and to ensure a safe and clean environment for all the citizens of Ingleside.
- I just moved to Ingleside. How do I get water, sewer and garbage collection service?

Call the Utility Services Department at City Hall, 361-776-2517, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
- I paid my bill, but I turned on the faucet and I have no water. Who should I call?

During after-hours or on weekends, call the Ingleside Police Department, at 361-776-2531 and they will dispatch the appropriate personnel.
- The water coming out of my faucets is discolored or has an odor. Who should I call?

- The toilets in my house are backing up. What should I do? Who do I call?

- Who picks up my household garbage and how often?

When you sign up for water service at City Hall, you will be given a schedule of when Allied Waste picks up in your neighborhood. Your residence will be issued a blue garbage bin from Allied Waste and garbage will be picked up twice weekly.
- Does the City have a recycling program?

Yes, the city does have a recycling program.
- I just trimmed my trees. What do I do with the limbs?

Guidelines for Pick-Up
Limbs should be cut into six-foot lengths and stacked by the curb, avoiding overhanging obstructions.

- Who do I call about missing street name signs or stop signs?

Please call the Public Works Office at 361-776-7409, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, to report missing or damaged signs.
- The street light outside my house is out. Who do I call?

If you notice a street light that is out, you can report it at AEP Texas's website or you can call 877-373-4858 to report it to the local power company. It helps to have a street location or pole number available when you call.
- I’m putting in a fence, or removing a tree. How do I find the water and sewer lines in my yard?

Call The Public Works Office at 361-776-7409, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, to locate water and wastewater lines.
Call 811 or go to the Texas811 website for all underground utility lines locations other than water and wastewater.
